What if you could fill up and charge a hybrid car using just one fleet card?

Galp has unveiled a hybrid card to pay for fuel and electrical charging. The goal is to take care of the future of mobility and companies’ new needs.

What if you could fill up and charge a hybrid car using just one fleet card? It was this idea that inspired Galp to transform its Galp Frota Corporate card. The new payment solution is a natural evolution of the card, which until now has been aimed at fuel-powered fleets. 

The new Galp Frota Corporate card provides access to the Iberian Peninsula’s largest fuel station network, as well as to Mobi.E charging points in Portugal. All this plus the advantages which are already available to Galp’s corporate clients, such as immediate discounts, the chance to purchase Galp products and services and to pay tolls throughout Spain and Portugal. 

As well as making vehicle refuelling or charging easier and more convenient, the Galp Frota Corporate card also simplifies the logistics involved in purchasing new cars. In effect, you won’t need to request a new card if you add electric vehicles to your traditional fleet: you just need to request activation of the new advantage on the new Galp Frota Corporate card and you’ll be given the option of charging at electrical supply points. 

During the initial stage of the launch, the new Galp Frota Corporate cards will be given to pre-selected clients in May. We intend for all companies with Galp Frota and Galp Electric cards to be able to benefit from this new technology by the end of the year.
