Helder Barata Pedro

Helder Barata Pedro, was born in Lisbon and has a degree in Law from the Lisbon Faculty of Law. He has held the position of Secretary General of ACAP (Associação Automóvel de Portugal), since 1992 and cumulatively, since 2008, the position of Member of the Board of this Association.

Chairman of the ACEA Liaison Committee (Association of European Automobile Manufacturers).

Executive Vice-President of the Board of CCP – Confederation of Commerce and Services of Portugal

Vice-President of the General Council of PRP – Portuguese Road Prevention

Executive Manager of the company Auto Informa – Commercialization of Studies and Provision of Services in the Automotive Sector

Manager of Valorpneu – Tire Management Society, Lda.

Manager of Valorcar – End of Life Vehicle Management Society, Lda.

Manager of the company Sogilub – Society for the Integrated Management of Used Lubricating Oils, Lda.

Between 1992 and 2007 he was Director General of AIMA (Association of Automobile Manufacturers) until the merger of this Association with ACAP.

He was Executive Director of the International Motor Show of Portugal
