Catarina Vazão

Catarina Vazão is a Partner at Get2C and Trade2C where she provides support in defining the company’s overall strategy, oversees business development within the scope of Emissions Trading and is responsible for the development and implementation of mitigation and adaptation strategies to climate change.

She holds a degree in Environmental Engineering and has 18 years of experience in consulting environment, climate change policies, carbon and energy markets and more 12 years of international experience.

She has coordinated the development of carbon footprints and sustainability and  ecarbonization in companies is responsible for the management and implementation of ELE in several Portuguese installations in different sectors of activity since 2006.

She was also responsible for the general coordination of the development of the 1st Roadmap Municipal Council for Carbon Neutrality, Cascais and has the same responsibility in the Roadmap for Carbon Neutrality of the Municipality of Azambuja.

At the international level, the general coordination of the Mitigation and Climate Change in Angola and the macro-economic assessment of the feasibility of implement an emissions trading system or carbon tax in Colombia.
